Coming up the next two weeks

As you hopefully all know by now, we're not going to be able to use the hall at Trinity for the next couple of months while the school exams are going on.  We have been looking around for other venues to play at during this period and are planning to try using Peter May (http://www.better.org.uk/leisure/peter-may-sports-centre/) again this year starting on this coming Tuesday, 15th May.  Since these are after our regular season it will be pay and play for everyone who wants to come but at the lower rate of £6 per session (or £3 for students).  We have a court booked from 8pm to 10pm and we hope to see as many people there as possible, although I would ask that if you are planning to come along please try to let me or Les know first as we might need to book another court if lots of you are going to make it.

The following week, Tuesday, 22nd May, we won't be playing as instead we're going to hold our AGM to discuss what we'll do as a club over the coming year (committee, membership, venue, matches, etc.).  As in previous years we'll meet at the Toby Carvery in Buckhurst Hill (http://www.tobycarvery.co.uk/buckhursthillessex/) and will start the meeting at 8pm although some of us will be there from 7pm to have dinner so if you'd like to eat first then do come along early.  We encourage everyone to come along and get involved but if you can't make it feel free to let us know any ideas you might have and we'll discuss them at the meeting.
